Not An Alternative promoted the idea that Occupy was at its strongest when understood as “a visual language in common” structured around an embrace of common repeating spatial signifiers. This exhibition, hosted by the Pratt University Architecture Department, featured a piece illustrating that concept: an architectural building block produced as a study of and iteration upon Occupy Gezi barricade and encampment architecture.
