Ian Hart

Ian Hart was a founding member of Not An Alternative, active from 20014-2010. He worked for six years at the American Museum of Natural History as an exhibit preparator, artist, and conservation technician. He fabricated exhibits and installed artifacts for exhibitions on a wide range of topics there, including Climate Change: The Threat to Life and A New Energy Future (2008). Ian has created scientific illustrations, educational models, natural history exhibits, signs, and installations at a variety of institutions including the Dia Foundation and The Museum of Modern Art. Ian is currently a preparator in the Exhibit Studio at the California Academy of Sciences. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from UC Davis in Evolution and Ecology.
