Occupied Real Estate Workshop

A 5-day workshop with Dutch students from the University of Leiden where small groups were tasked with creating a piece that borrowed from and extended the visual language of construction and authority over space. The idea was to create a sculptural structure that looked like it might have been put there by the city or some other legitimate authority. It had to look convincing enough that it might remain in place for at least 24hours, and the installation of the work needed to be an intervention that confronted a political limit. Video was shot and edited by the students.
